Honey....I'm HOOOOOOME! ;)

Well it's storming outside and it was the perfect opportunity to add pictures of the house on here. It's of course still a work in progress, and I just can't wait for it to start feeling like a home with pictures and decorations on the walls.

Ryan had been searching for house before he even got a job in Austin and moved here. Once we got engaged he was very diligent to find a house for us. I wanted us to stay in an apt for a while to save money, but when Ryan showed me that since we were living separately we were already paying rent that was equal to a mortgage payment...it only made sense! We just prayed that if we're meant to have this house it would work out. Buying a house is quite a process!!!!! On top of wedding stress... I told Ryan he was crazy! But I worked on the wedding, and he did the house - so we called it about even. ;)

Welcome to Casa Corl!

Entry way! The walls look super yellow, and they are! haha It looks much prettier in person. ;)

Entry table...

Tried to squeeze it all in...but this is the family room! They left the curtains for us and they amazingly matched perfectly! LOVE IT! :) Those windows have a view of the porch and backyard.

Just another angle of the family room...can't wait to get some stuff on the walls! So bare!

Our pretty pretty fire place and mantle...that door in the back goes to the laundry room and then garage.

KITCHEN! I want to get a cute sign made to say "Cafe Corl" :)

This is the view from the family room. You're probably wondering what that big brown blob is on the island... Ryan got a super cool shark tray from the Bahamas and it's home is on the 'island'. Yeah Ry felt pretty clever doing that! ha

The kitchen table matched perfectly...once again it looks much better in person! Need a theme here! Ideas are welcome! There is a door on the left wall and the next picture is what you see....

Our covered porch! Love it...

Cut out right next to the entry way. I am very proud of my flower arrangement... I just copied one at Hobby Lobby that I loved! :)

Guest bath...

Another view...

Sink...

This is right across from the guest bathroom...
it's so nice to have this little spot built in and don't have to use a room for a 'study'.

"Lady Bug Room"... this was a little girls room.... It was all decked out in lady bug stuff.

This was a little boy's room... check out all the animals...

That tree probably cost a lot to get painted...

Oh yeah....it's a giraffe. All the animals (there are birds, alligators, turtles...) have 'googlie eyes'...
sorta creeeepy.

Master Bedroom! Ceilings are really high in here...just can't tell in the picture.

Pretty pretty curtains! They left these too... makes the room look really big! Love it!
Window to the backyard!

Doors to the bathroom and the walk-in closet in the back!

Master Bath Sink! Love the double sink!

Big tub and shower...kinda dark picture, but the bubble glass brings in a lot of light!

Great shower!

The house! I think it's so cute! Love it... we've trimmed those bush/trees so you can see the house better! It's pouring out so I didn't want to take a picture today...

Driveway & garage!

Well that is the end of the tour! Hotel Corl is ready for visitors!
Love ya!

It's a wonderful life!
