This past weekend was the beginning of my Spring Break and the best opportunity for Ryan and I to go on a 'babymoon'! When I was thinking about the nickname babymoon...I thought, "Honeymoon happens after the wedding, and babymoon...well it has to happen before the baby or it will never happen!" haha Here are some pics of our wonderful weekend stay in San Antonio. We picked San Antonio because there were some things there that neither of us had done, and it was going to be not too far (traveling is tough pregnant!) but far enough to feel like we really 'got outta town!'
The San Antonio Zoo was our first stop!
This bear kept coming out of the 'cave' and people would start 'ohhh' and 'ahhh' so he turned right back around and go back into the cave. Pretty funny... notice the other bear sleeping?
Grizzly - yeah he was pretty scary lookin! His claws were huge!
Python - Ryan loved this guy!
Sea Horses! Did you know sea horses, along with Kangaroos, have the male carry around the baby instead of the female. I was sure to point this out to Ryan ;)
They were picking bugs off each other....
Elephant wouldn't turn around for a picture...but this was RIGHT before he decided to relieve himself in front of the Zoo crowd.
Wild African Dogs...they looked so cool! Their fur was so interesting looking, and they had huge ears.
This Rhino looked sad...for some reason I just loved this big guy.
